Please note, all construction activities associated with this project were completed on Monday, December 2, 2024.

This project repaved Fowler Avenue (SR 582) from west of the Tampa Bypass Canal (east of I-75) to US 301 in Hillsborough County.

Other improvements included replacing the existing drainage ditch with a closed reinforced concrete pipe system and installing sidewalks along both sides of Fowler Avenue. 

Construction activities took place during daytime and nighttime hours. Access to driveways, sidewalks, and side streets were maintained.

Motorists were reminded to use caution when traveling through the work zone and to remain alert for pedestrians and construction workers. 

Construction activities were estimated to finish during fall 2024.
