As of June 7, 2024, all construction activities associated with this project have been completed.
The Florida Department of Transportation's Design-Build Firm, Cone & Graham, Inc., is adding a new traffic signal at SR 39 (Alexander Street) and Mud Lake Road in Hillsborough County.
Other safety and operational improvements include sidewalk installation, and addition of pedestrian signals and crosswalks.
Construction activities are underway and expected to be complete in spring 2024.
