As of August 9, 2023, all construction activities associated with this project have been completed.
The Florida Department of Transportation's Design-Build firm, Cone & Graham, Inc., is making improvements to roadway lighting along SR 574 (Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) from I-4 to Laura Street in Hillsborough County.
Safety improvements include installing new light poles and retrofitting existing light poles along this roadway. This project is estimated to finish by late 2023.
