This project is repaving Fowler Avenue (SR 582) from west of 51st Street to west of Riverhills Drive in Temple Terrace. 

Additional improvements include installing a new mid-block pedestrian signal at 52nd Street, extending westbound left-turn lanes onto 56th Street, retrofitting highway lighting, updating ADA features, and performing minor drainage work. 

Construction activities are taking place during daytime and nighttime hours. Work requiring lane closures including paving operations will occur at night from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.  

Access to driveways, sidewalks, and side streets are being maintained.

Motorists are reminded to use caution when traveling through the work zone and remain alert for pedestrians and construction workers. 

Construction is expected to finish during early 2026.
