About
This project is reconstructing the intersection of US 301 at Symmes Road from asphalt to concrete pavement, performing drainage improvements, and updating sidewalk ramps to ADA standards in Hillsborough County.
In addition, new traffic signals will be installed at the intersections of US 301 and Shady Preserve Drive, Rhodine Road, and Summerfield Boulevard/Ramble Creek Drive.
Access to driveways, sidewalks, and side streets to be maintained. Motorists are reminded to use caution when traveling through the work zone and remain alert for pedestrians and construction workers.
Construction activities are taking place during daytime and nighttime hours. Work requiring lane closures will occur nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Construction is estimated to finish during early 2027.
