About
The intersection of US 301 and Symmes Road has been reconstructed from asphalt to concrete pavement, drainage improvements have been performed, and sidewalk ramps updated to ADA standards in Hillsborough County.
In addition, new traffic signals have been installed at Rhodine Road and Summerfield Boulevard/Ramble Creek Drive and Shady Preserve Drive.
Motorists are reminded to use caution when traveling through the work zone and remain alert for pedestrians and construction workers.
Construction activities are taking place during daytime and nighttime hours. Work requiring lane closures will occur nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
This project is expected to finish by late 2026.
