About

The purpose of this resurfacing, restoration and rehabilitation (RRR) project is to preserve and extend the life of the existing pavement along US 301 from Balm Road/Paseo Al Mar Boulevard to Whitt Road in Hillsborough County.

Additional improvements include the installation of a directional median opening at US 301 and Cowley Road to reduce conflicts and improve safety conditions. This project also includes minor drainage work, roadway, and pedestrian safety improvements.

Construction activities requiring lane closures will occur Sunday through Thursday nights from 8:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Drivers should use caution while traveling through the work zone and remain alert for pedestrians and construction workers.

This project is expected to finish during early 2026.
