Harney Road Under I-75 Closing Nightly Next Week

Tampa, FL – A full road closure of Harney Road under I-75 between US 301 and Williams Road will occur nightly Sunday, April 12 through Thursday, April 16, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting.

Message boards and temporary signage will assist motorists traveling through the detour route using US 301 and Williams Road.

Drivers should use caution when traveling through the work zone, always be vigilant for construction workers and equipment moving in the area.

These temporary road closures are necessary for crews to perform overhead bridge work as part of the widening of I-75 from the Tampa Bypass Canal to Fowler Avenue in Hillsborough County.
