June 2026 Update: Closure Continues of Broadway Avenue under US 301

Closure of Broadway Avenue under US 301 continues through mid-July 2026, weather permitting. 

During this ongoing road closure, motorists are having to detour around the work zone using Orient Road, SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard), and Falkenburg Road to access Broadway Avenue. 

Motorists should use caution while driving through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers.

This road closure is necessary for crews relocate utilities and rebuild a section of Broadway Avenue as part of the repaving of US 301 from Bloomingdale Avenue to SR 574 (Dr Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard) in Hillsborough County.
