New Traffic Signal: Alt US 19 at Virginia Avenue

Palm Harbor, FL - A new traffic signal and pedestrian crossing have been energized and are now operational at the intersection of Alt US 19 and Virginia Avenue in Pinellas County.

Drivers should remain alert to changing traffic conditions as motorists and pedestrians adjust to the new signalized intersection.

This signal is part of the Alt US 19 repaving project from Tampa Road to Meres Boulevard. In addition to roadway resurfacing, other safety enhancements include the installation of raised median islands, sidewalk and drainage upgrades, and new mid-block pedestrian crossings. The project is expected to finish next month.
