Northbound I-275 Ramp (Exit 39) to SR 60 West and SR 589 North Closing Nightly

Nightly closures continue of the northbound I-275 ramp (Exit 39) to SR 60 West/SR 589 North from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday, March 15 through Thursday, March 19; Sunday, March 22 through Thursday, March 26; and Sunday, March 29 through Thursday, April 2, weather permitting.

Motorists traveling to SR 60 (Memorial Highway), Tampa International Airport, and northbound SR 589 (Veterans Expressway) should continue east toward Kennedy Boulevard, turn left onto SR 60, and follow signs to Tampa International Airport or SR 589 (Veterans Expressway). The eastbound access to Kennedy Boulevard and Westshore Boulevard will remain open during these night closures.

Advanced warning signs and message boards will assist drivers traveling through the area. Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers and equipment.

These temporary nighttime ramp closures are necessary for crews to install Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) devices, including temporary barrier wall and signage, as part of the early construction activities for the Tampa Westshore Interchange (I-275/SR 60) project.
