NOW OPEN: Trapnell Road west of SR 39 in Plant City
Plant City, FL – Trapnell Road to the west of State Road 39 (James L. Redman Parkway), is now open to traffic.
Last night, Sunday, April 19,2026, crews opened a section of SR 39 and Trapnell Road to new concrete travel lanes in Plant City.
Message boards and signage remain in place to assist drivers traveling through the area. Motorists are reminded to slow down, stay alert, and drive safely through the work zone.
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is making improvements to the intersection of US 301 and SR 39 (James L. Redman Parkway), by replacing the intersection’s asphalt pavement with a durable concrete surface in Plant City, Hillsborough County.
