Palm Avenue Closing Nightly

Tampa, FL – Temporary road closure of Palm Avenue between Central Avenue and Nebraska Avenue will occur nightly Sunday through Thursday (11/9 – 11/13 except 11/11, and 11/16 – 1111/20) from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting.

Motorists will have to detour around the work zone using Nebraska Avenue, Columbus Drive, and Central Avenue.

Message boards and signage will assist drivers traveling through the area. Motorists should use caution while driving through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers and pedestrians.

These closures are necessary for crews to perform overhead bridge work for the safety and operational improvements project of the Downtown Tampa Interchange (I-275/I-4). Construction activities are expected to be completed by 2027.
