- Widening the existing EB I-4 frontage road (13th Avenue) to two lanes

- Widening the existing single lane ramp from WB I-4 to NB I-275 to two lanes
- Adding an additional merge lane on NB I-275 between I-4 and the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. exit to the west of the current alignment

To construct the project, heavy machinery will be used during daytime and nighttime hours and at times, may produce noise, vibration, and require the use of bright lights during nighttime work.
Work requiring lane closures will occur at night between 9 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. Occasionally, interstate ramps may close at night between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.
