Southbound I-275 Ramp (Exit 45A) to Downtown East-West Closing Sunday Night

Tampa, FL – The southbound I-275 ramp (Exit 45A) to Downtown East-West (Jefferson Street and Ashley Drive) will close nightly from 10 p.m., Sunday, January 25, to 5 a.m., Monday, January 26, weather permitting.

Drivers should detour off the interstate using Exit 46A, turn right on Floribraska Avenue, then left on Tampa Street, and continue south on Tampa Street to access Scott Street, Laurel Street, and Cass Street.

Advanced warning signs and message boards will be used to assist motorists during this closure. Drivers should use caution while traveling through the work zone and remain alert for pedestrians and construction workers.

This nighttime ramp closure is necessary for crews to perform construction activities along interstate ramps as part of the Downtown Tampa Interchange (I-275/I-4) Safety and Operational Improvements project.
