Southbound I-275 Ramp (Exit 45B) to Eastbound I-4 Closing Wednesday and Thursday Nights

Tampa, FL - A temporary closure of the southbound I-275 ramp (Exit 45B) to eastbound I-4 will occur nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., on Wednesday, February 25 and Thursday, February 26, weather permitting.   

Motorists will have to detour around the work zone by continuing south on I-275, exiting the interstate using Exit 45A (Jefferson Street), keeping left at the fork toward Downtown East, turning left onto Scott Street, and re-entering the interstate using the eastbound I-4 entrance ramp.

Advanced warning signs and message boards will assist motorists traveling through the detour. Drivers should remain alert for construction workers and pedestrians in the area.

These ramp closures are necessary for crews to perform overhead bridge work for the Downtown Tampa Interchange (I-275/I-4) Safety and Operational Improvements project.
