Southbound I-275 Ramp (Exit 45B) to Eastbound I-4 Continues Closing Nightly

Tampa, FL - A temporary closure of the southbound I-275 ramp (Exit 45B) to eastbound I-4 will occur from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday, December 14 through Thursday, December 18 and Sunday, December 21 and Monday, December 22, weather permitting.   

Motorists will have to detour around the work zone by continuing south on I-275, exiting the interstate using Exit 45A (Jefferson Street), keeping right at the fork toward Downtown East, turning left onto Scott Street, and re-entering the interstate using the eastbound I-4 entrance ramp.

Advanced warning signs and message boards will assist motorists traveling through the detour. Drivers should remain alert for construction workers and pedestrians in the area.

This ramp closure is necessary for crews to perform sound wall work for the Downtown Tampa Interchange (I-275/I-4) Safety and Operational Improvements project.
