Westbound I-4 Ramp from SR 574 (Dr MLK Jr Blvd) Closing Nightly

Tampa, FL – The westbound I-4 entrance ramp from SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) will close nightly starting Sunday, May 3 through Thursday, May 7, from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting.

Motorists will have to proceed east on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard (SR 574), turn left onto 50th Street (SR 583), and then turn right onto Columbus Drive to access the westbound I-4 entrance ramp. 

Message boards and signage will assist drivers traveling through the area. Motorists should exercise caution while driving through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers.

These nightly ramp closures are part of the I-4 westbound auxiliary lane project which is adding a travel lane to the interstate between Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard (Exit 5) and 50th Street (Exit 3) in Tampa.
