SR 60 Repaving from Ben T Davis Beach to Bayport Drive 450337-1-52-01

This project will repave State Road 60 from west of the Ben T. Davis Beach entrance to east of Bayport Drive in Tampa, Hillsborough County. 

Other improvements include:

• milling and resurfacing frontage roads and ramps on the north and south sides of SR 60 within the project limits.
• updating signage and pavement markings, signalization features, lighting, pedestrian features
• and guardrail replacement

Construction activities are taking place during daytime and nighttime hours. Work requiring lane closures including paving operations will occur at night from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.  

Access to driveways, sidewalks, and side streets to be maintained.

Motorists are reminded to use caution when traveling through the work zone and should remain alert for construction workers, cyclists, and pedestrians. 

This project is expected to finish during fall 2027.
