FINAL ACCEPTED ON JANUARY 21, 2020
The new 57-foot wide bridge will be made of state of the art rust-resistant materials and built in the same location as the previous 30-foot wide bridge. It will feature a 12-foot travel lane in each direction, eight-foot shoulders, and five-foot sidewalks.
Traffic is now using half of the new bridge and shoulder in a temporary two-way configuration while the second half of the new bridge is built.
Motorists are advised to use caution while traveling through the work zone. Access to driveways and side streets are being maintained.
The $7.6 million project is expected to finish in the fall of 2019.
