The public is invited to attend and participate in the public meeting for the upcoming SR 688 access modifications.

In-Person Meeting: Attend the public meeting in person anytime on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Holiday Inn & Suites Harbourside, 401 2nd Street, Indian Rocks Beach, Florida 33785. Attendees will receive project information, view project displays, and have the opportunity to submit comments and speak with the project team.

This project will repave SR 688 (Walsingham Road) from SR 699 (Gulf Boulevard) to the east of Indian Rocks Road/Oakhurst Road in Pinellas County.

Additional improvements include upgrading ADA facilities, modify turning movements, minor drainage modifications, signalization, signing and pavement markings, and lighting.

This project is currently in the design phase. Construction is anticipated to begin in fall 2026.
