The Florida Department of Transportation's Design-Build Firm, Cone & Graham, Inc., is adding a new traffic signal at ALT US 19 (Pinellas Avenue) at Anclote Road/Coquina Drive in Pinellas County. 

Other safety and operational improvements include road resurfacing, and pedestrian and lighting improvements. 

Construction activities are expected to be complete in late 2026.

What is design-build? Design-build is a method of project delivery in which one entity - the design-build team - works under a single contract with the FDOT (or any owner) to fully design and construct a project.  The contract work covers from initial design through construction completion.  This contract type typically allows for faster construction of a project as design and construction can be on-going simultaneously.
