All construction activities associated with this project were completed on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.
This project installed Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) components to support future connected vehicle infrastructure by installing roadside units along I-4 along Hillsborough, Polk, Osceola, and Orange counties in Florida.
This project was constructed in conjunction with the recently completed Project Number 445362-2-52-01. For more information on that project, please click here.
*Construction cost included original construction contract amount plus approved contract changes. It did not include inspection oversite.
