About

All construction activities associated with this project were completed on November 22, 2024.

This project installed Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) components to support future connected vehicle infrastructure which installed nearly 700 roadside units along I-4 between I-275 and the Polk County line in Hillsborough County.

In addition, approximately 300 blank-out signs to assist with hurricane evacuation routes were installed as part of this project.

Construction was expected to finish during summer of 2025.

This project was constructed in conjunction with Financial Project Number 445362-3-52-01.
