The purpose of the project is to preserve and extend the life of the existing CR 54 (Pure Water Way / 5th Avenue) pavement, provide safety modifications, improve ADA deficiencies, improve side slopes and shoulder treatments, upgrade or replace nonstandard guardrail and end treatments, repair existing sidewalks, and replace/refresh signs and pavement markings.

Construction is anticipated to begin in early January 2026.
