As of July 7, 2026, all construction activities associated with this project have been completed.
The purpose of the project was to preserve and extend the life of the existing CR 54 (Pure Water Way / 5th Avenue) pavement, provide safety modifications, improve ADA deficiencies, improve side slopes and shoulder treatments, upgrade or replace nonstandard guardrail and end treatments, repair existing sidewalks, and replace/refresh signs and pavement markings.
