The purpose of the project is to preserve and extend the life of the existing SR 54 (5th Avenue) pavement, provide safety modifications, improve ADA deficiencies, improve side slopes and shoulder treatments, upgrade or replace nonstandard guardrail and end treatments, repair existing sidewalks, and replace/refresh signs and pavement markings.
