How to use a pedestrian mid-block crosswalk

The Florida Department of Transportation's Design-Build Firm, Cone & Graham, Inc., has made pedestrian safety improvements on SR 679 (Pinellas Bayway) from 13th Street to Yacht Club Lane in Pinellas County. 

Elements of work included a new mid-block pedestrian crosswalk at Yacht Club Lane and sidewalk modifications. 

Construction activities are complete as of July 14, 2025.

What is design-build? Design-build is a method of project delivery in which one entity - the design-build team - works under a single contract with the FDOT (or any owner) to fully design and construct a project.  The contract work covers from initial design through construction completion.  This contract type typically allows for faster construction of a project as design and construction can be on-going simultaneously.
