About
Interchange improvements to be constructed with this project include the following:
- Re-stripe the existing pavement to provide a 2-lane northbound I-75 exit ramp to SR 52.
- Provide a 2-lane ramp from westbound SR 52 to the southbound I-75 entrance ramp.
- Provide dual left turn lanes from eastbound SR 52 to the entrance ramp onto northbound I-75.
- Provide two receiving lanes on the northbound I-75 entrance ramp.
- Reconfigure the existing lanes on westbound SR 52 from Pasco Road to I-75 accordingly.
Construction is underway as of April 26, 2026.

Westbound SR 52 Entrance to Northbound I-75 to be Closed Tuesday Night
The westbound SR 52 entrance ramp onto northbound I-75 is scheduled to be closed from 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 28 to 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, weather permitting. If the work is not completed Tuesday night, the ramp could also be closed July 29 and/or July 30 nights. Eastbound SR 52 access to northbound I-75 is planned to remain open.
DETOUR: Drivers will continue west past the closed ramp and use the “loop” entrance ramp onto southbound I-75. Drivers will go south on I-75, use Exit 282, go east on Overpass Road over I-75, then turn left and use the entrance ramp onto northbound I-75. Westbound SR 52 entrance ramp to southbound I-75 to be closed tonight
The westbound SR 52 "loop" entrance ramp onto southbound I-75 is scheduled to be closed from 8 p.m. Monday, July 27 to 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, weather permitting.
DETOUR: Traffic will continue west on SR 52 past the closed ramp, U-Turn at the traffic signal at Old Pasco Road, go east on SR 52, and turn right onto the entrance ramp to southbound I-75. Detour Map

Night median closure on SR 52 at I-75
The median of SR 52 on the east side of I-75 is planned to be closed between 8 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Wednesday night, July 29, and Thursday night, July 30, weather permitting. These closures will prohibit traffic exiting northbound I-75 at Exit 285 from turning west onto SR 52, and eastbound SR 52 traffic from turning left to the northbound I-75 entrance ramp.
DETOURS
- Northbound I-75 Exit 285 to Westbound SR 52: Drivers will turn right onto eastbound SR 52, U-Turn at the Tradeway Boulevard / Pasco Road signalized intersection, then continue west on SR 52.
- Eastbound SR 52 to Northbound I-75: Drivers will continue east past the entrance ramp, U-Turn at the Tradeway Boulevard / Pasco Road signalized intersection, go west on SR 52 and use the westbound SR 52 entrance ramp onto northbound I-75.
- Northbound I-75 Exit 285 to Westbound SR 52: Drivers will turn right onto eastbound SR 52, U-Turn at the Tradeway Boulevard / Pasco Road signalized intersection, then continue west on SR 52.
