As of February 17, 2026, all construction activities associated with this project have been completed.
This project is constructing a Truck Parking Availability System (TPAS) at the I-275 Skyway north rest area in Pinellas County.
The TPAS includes installing fix-mounted fix-zoom HD cameras to detect the occupancy of the truck parking spaces at the rest area and provide the number of available spaces on a dynamic message sign (DMS) to notify truck drivers in advance of the rest area.
Construction is estimated to be complete in early 2026.
