US 19 Pedestrian Mid-Block Crosswalk at Louis Avenue in Pasco County 254677-6-23

The Florida Department of Transportation's Design-Build Firm, Cone & Graham, Inc., is installing a new pedestrian mid-block crosswalk on US 19 at Louis Avenue in Pasco County. 

Other safety and operational improvements include road resurfacing, and pedestrian and lighting improvements. 

Construction activities are expected to be complete in late 2027.

What is design-build? Design-build is a method of project delivery in which one entity - the design-build team - works under a single contract with the FDOT (or any owner) to fully design and construct a project.  The contract work covers from initial design through construction completion.  This contract type typically allows for faster construction of a project as design and construction can be on-going simultaneously.
