As of January 8, 2026, all construction activities associated with this project are complete. 

The Florida Department of Transportation's Design-Build firm, Cone & Graham, Inc., will be completing safety and operational improvements at the SR 54 and US 41 intersection in Pasco County. The project includes milling and resurfacing the existing roadway pavement and extending the eastbound right turn lane to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion.

Construction activities are expected to complete spring 2026.
