Road Closure: Alt US 19 from Aberdeen Street to President Street
Dunedin, FL – Beginning early morning Monday, December 1, the Florida Department of Transportation’s contractor will close all travel lanes on Alternate US 19 from Aberdeen Street to President Street for approximately one week, weather permitting.
During this temporary road closure, motorists will have to detour around the work zone using Union Street, Patricia Avenue, Main Street/Skinner Boulevard, and Broadway. Access to businesses, residents, and emergency vehicles continues to be maintained.
Advanced warning signs and message boards will assist drivers traveling through the area. Motorists should anticipate traffic delays and congestion on all nearby roads while traveling through the detour.
This road closure is part of the Alt US 19 repaving project from Aberdeen Street to President Street in Pinellas County. For more information on this project or to sign up for alerts, please visit FDOTTampaBay.com.
