As of February 2, 2024, all work was completed and this project was final-accepted from the contractor.

This project widened the previous two-lane road to a four-lane divided highway with medians. A sidewalk was constructed on the north side of the road and a 10-foot wide multi-use trail was built on the south side. The sidewalk and trail run the entire length of the project, from east of Curley Road to east of the Morris Bridge Road / Eiland Boulevard intersection.
