As of January 26, 2022, all work associated with this project has been completed.
This project is improving drainage on SR 699 (Gulf Blvd) between Walsingham Road and Park Boulevard in Indian Rocks Beach and in the Town of Indian Shores in Pinellas County.
Construction activities began at the north end of the project, and it is progressing towards the south. Crews are working Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Access to businesses and residents are being maintained.
Motorists should anticipate heavier than normal volumes of traffic on Gulf Boulevard during scheduled lane closures.
The $11.9 million project is expected to finish in the fall of 2021.
