All work has been completed and the project was final-accepted from the contractor on April 12, 2022.
This project created a new four-lane roadway connecting CR 578 (County Line Road) to Ayers Road (CR 576) at US 41. Improvements also included widening County Line Road between the Suncoast Parkway and the new Ayers Road connection.
As part of the new Ayers Road project, an 11-foot wide multi-use path was built on the north side of CR 578 and the west and north sides of the new Ayers Road. The new multi-use path connects to the Suncoast Trail.
New traffic signals were installed at both intersections of Trillium Boulevard and Ayers Road and the intersection of Ayers Road and US 41.
The 2.9-mile project is just north of the Pasco/Hernando County line. It begins east of the Suncoast Parkway and ends at US 41 and Ayers Road in Masaryktown.
