About

This project will repave US 19 / US 98 (Suncoast Blvd.) between the Hernando County line and West Green Acres Street in Citrus County. A northbound right turn lane will be added at Cardinal Street and left turn lanes will be constructed at various median openings within the project limits. 

A new 10 foot wide multi-use trail is being built on the east side of US 19 and a 5 foot wide sidewalk is being constructed on the west side of the highway.

Closures
  • US 19 from US 98 to W. Green Acres Street
    Lane closures: Monday, December 5 through Friday, December 9 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Lane closed on southbound US 19 south of Green Acres Street

    Homosassa, FL -- Due to a depression in the median, the left lane of southbound US 19 is closed between W. Green Acres Street and S. Oakridge Drive. The lane will remain closed in this area until further notice, for investigation and repairs.
