About
As of August 28, 2023, all work was completed and this project was final-accepted from the contractor.
This project repaved US 19 / US 98 (Suncoast Blvd.) between the Hernando County line and West Green Acres Street in Citrus County. A northbound right turn lane was added at Cardinal Street and left turn lanes were constructed at various median openings within the project limits.
A new 10 foot wide multi-use trail was constructed on the east side of US 19 and a 5 foot wide sidewalk was built on the west side of the highway.
* Construction cost includes original construction contract amount plus approved contract changes. It does not include inspection oversite.
