As of July 30, 2021, all work associated with this project is now complete.
This safety improvement project changed, relocated and closed some medians along SR 580 (Hillsborough Avenue) between Memorial Highway/Sheldon Road and Himes Avenue in Hillsborough County.
It also provided multi-modal improvements at multiple locations along the corridor including pedestrian signal modifications, crosswalk improvements and minor drainage improvements at the intersections of Town N Country Boulevard, Hanley Road and Anderson Road. Improvements now provide an alternative bike route along the eastbound direction from Dale Mabry Highway to Himes Avenue.
This project was combined with 437641-2 into a single construction project. All updates will be made to this page.
