This project will make safety enhancements and pedestrian improvements to Kennedy Boulevard from West Shore Boulevard to the west of MacDill Avenue in Tampa.
Corridor improvements include:
- adjusting traffic signal timings
- closing some medians
- extending some turn lanes
- upgrading highway lighting
- widening and repairing sidewalks
Construction is to finish in early 2023.

Lane closures: 24 hours per day until Saturday, December 10 (eastbound right-turn lane)
SR 60 (Kennedy Boulevard) from Westshore Boulevard to Lois Avenue
Lane closures: Monday, December 5 through Friday, December 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Lane closures: Sunday, December 4 through Thursday, December 8 nights from 9 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
