The project was accepted from the contractor as completed on March 2, 2025
Construction is complete on this design-build project which added traffic signal controller upgrades along the SR 54/56 corridor including cameras, fiber optics, and other detection components between Gunn Highway in Odessa and Bruce B. Downs Boulevard in Wesley Chapel.
New highway lighting was also added at these two intersections: Crossings Boulevard and Oakstead Boulevard.
* Construction cost includes original construction contract amount plus approved contract changes. It does not include inspection oversite.
