As of September 15, 2025, all construction activities associated with this project have been completed.
This project repaved US 19 (34th St.) between 54th Avenue South and 22nd Avenue North.
Highway lighting was replaced at the signalized intersections, the sidewalk was widened to eight feet on both sides of the roadway where possible, and medians along the corridor was also modified to enhance safety.
Construction finished during fall 2025.
*Construction cost includes original construction contract amount plus approved contract changes. It does not include inspection oversite.
