As of July 25, 2024, all construction activities associated with this project have been completed.  

This project includes extending left turn lane storage at nine signalized intersections and 15 left turn lanes at existing median openings along the corridor. 

Some existing median openings will be modified, lengthening the left turn lane storage, and others will be closed. Additionally, nine mid-block pedestrian crossings will be built. The median closures and turn lane extensions will improve safety and traffic flow. The new crosswalks with pedestrian signals will allow pedestrians to cross US 92 (4th St. N) at designated locations more safely. U-turn locations are available throughout the corridor to access businesses.

Construction is underway and anticipated to be complete in summer 2024.
