SR 52 Widening from east of Secretariat Road to east of Ehren Cutoff 256334-3-52-01

This project involves widening SR 52 (Schrader Highway) from the existing two-lane road to a four-lane divided road. To minimize right of way acquisition, the widening will generally occur to the north of the existing roadway. A 12-foot wide multi-use trail will be constructed along the north side of the road as well. 

Additional improvements to SR 52 (Schrader Highway) include the construction of two wildlife crossings, a pedestrian underpass, and upgrading the Ehren Cutoff intersection to a signalized, four-leg intersection.

The project is currently under design. Construction is anticipated to begin in Fall 2027.
