As of March 12, 2026, all construction activities associated with this project have been completed.

This project will perform routine maintenance on the Sunshine Skyway Bridge to help extend its lifespan. Work includes applying a protective coating to the bridge surface and using specialized treatments to help prevent corrosion on key structural supports.

Construction activities are underway and anticipated to be complete spring 2026.
