About
This project is repaving SR 44 (Gulf to Lake Hwy) in Citrus County from US 41 to the Sumter County line and US 41 from E Grace Street to south of SR 44. Three projects have been combined to be built under one construction contract: 448040-1-52-01, 448040-1-52-02, and 443981-1-52-01.
This project also includes sidewalk construction and repairs, guardrail repairs, and replacement of signs and pavement markings. A new traffic signal will be installed at the intersection of SR 44 and E Gospel Island Road. A second left turn lane will be added from southbound US 41 onto eastbound SR 44.
