All construction activities associated with this project were completed Friday, August 4, 2023.

The Florida Department of Transportation’s contractor, Blacktip Services, Inc., added turn lanes to SR 60 at W. Kennedy Boulevard in Tampa.

This intersection now features three right turn movements from W. Kennedy Boulevard onto SR 60 and three left turn movements from SR 60 onto W. Kennedy Boulevard. 

Other improvements to this intersection included replacing the existing traffic signals with hurricane-resistant poles and installing new overhead sign structures.

The $5.2 million project finished during the summer of 2023.
