Nighttime Ramp Closures Continue from Tampa Airport and Spruce Street to WB SR 60 and NB SR 589
Nighttime ramp closures from Tampa International Airport and Spruce Street to westbound SR 60 (Memorial Highway) and northbound SR 589 (Veterans Expressway) continue from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday (11/2 – 11/6, 11/9 – 11/13 excluding 11/11, 11/16 – 11/20, 11/23 and 11/24, 12/1 – 12/4), weather permitting.
Drivers exiting Tampa International Airport should stay right at the Spruce Street fork, continue east, then turn right on Westshore Boulevard, and right again on Kennedy Boulevard to reach SR 60 and SR 589.
Westbound traffic on Spruce Street must detour via Westshore Boulevard and Kennedy Boulevard to access SR 60 and SR 589.
Advanced warning signs and message boards will assist vehicles traveling through the area. Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers.
These temporary ramp closures are necessary to perform final paving operations as part of the widening of westbound SR 60 near the Tampa International Airport.
