As of December 14, 2022, all construction activities associated with this project have been completed. 

This construction project will address curve safety
improvements with the installation of curve warning signs and new pavement markings along five (5) off-system roadways in Citrus County. 

Location 1: C.R. 48 (Orange Avenue/Duval Island Drive) – from S. Bedford Road to S. Cres Loop
Location 2: C.R. 39 (Istachatta Road) – from E. Atkinson Court to E. Bushnell Road
Location 3: C.R. 39A (Gobbler Drive) – from S. Florida Avenue to S. Withlapopka Drive
Location 4: C.R. 44 (Fort Island Trail) – from Fort Island Beach to N. Suncoast Boulevard
Location 5: C.R. 491 (Lecanto Highway/Citrus Way) – from W. Honeybee Lane to N. Carl G Rose Highway

Construction is expected to be completed in late 2022.
