As of March 10, 2026, all construction activities associated with this project have been completed.
This project milled and repaved SR 54 from west of Virginia City Drive to Old Mill Pond Drive in the New Port Richey area of Pasco County.
The traffic signal at Rowan Road was upgraded as part of this project. In addition, the median opening east of Rowan Road was closed. Minor drainage and signing/pavement marking work items also took place.
The alignment of the road was not altered from the existing conditions and all improvements were made within the existing rights-of-way.
Day and night lane closures were used as needed to complete the various work activities.
