About

This project will mill and repave SR 54 from west of Virginia City Drive to Old Mill Pond Drive in the New Port Richey area of Pasco County.

The traffic signal at Rowan Road will be upgraded as part of this project. In addition, the median opening east of Rowan Road will be closed. Minor drainage and signing/pavement marking work will also take place.

The alignment of the road will not be altered from the existing conditions and all improvements will be made within the existing rights-of-way.

Day and night lane closures will be used as needed to perform the various work activities.

Construction began May 7, 2025.
