As of June 13, 2024, all construction activities associated with this project have been completed.  

The Florida Department of Transportation's Design-Build firm, Cone & Graham, Inc., is installing a new pedestrian mid-block crosswalk at US 19 and Buena Vista Lane/Bartelt Road in Pasco County.

Other safety and operational improvements include roadway resurfacing, highway lighting, and median and sidewalk modifications.

Construction is underway and expected to be complete in summer 2024.
