SR 60 (Court Street) High Friction Surface Treatment at Ewing Avenue in Pinellas County

The Florida Department of Transportation's Design-Build Firm, Cone & Graham, Inc., is making roadway improvements to the intersection of SR 60 (Court Street) and Ewing Avenue in Pinellas County.

Elements of work shall include but are not limited to roadway milling and resurfacing with a high surface friction treatment. These improvements will protect against skidding and provide a safe travel path for vehicles.

Construction activities are expected to be complete in summer 2027.

What is design-build? Design-build is a method of project delivery in which one entity - the design-build team - works under a single contract with the FDOT (or any owner) to fully design and construct a project.  The contract work covers from initial design through construction completion.  This contract type typically allows for faster construction of a project as design and construction can be on-going simultaneously.
