As of June 30, 2025, all construction activities associated with this project have been completed. 

The Florida Department of Transportation's Design-Build firm, Cone & Graham, Inc., installed a new traffic signal on SR 60 (Courtney Campbell Causeway), just east of Bayshore Boulevard in Pinellas County

Other safety and operational improvements included roadway resurfacing and installing sidewalk.
