US 301 from Whitt Road to Rivercrest Drive
Lane closures: Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17 nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

US 301 from Manatee County line to SR 674 (Sun City Center Boulevard)
Lane closures: Sunday, April 12 through Saturday, April 18 nights from 7 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

US 301 at Ayersworth Glen Boulevard
Lane closures: Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

US 301 at Big Bend Road
Lane closures: Sunday, April 12 through Thursday, April 16 nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Symmes Road east of US 301 Closing for 21 days
Riverview, FL – Beginning early morning, Monday, April 6, 2026, a section of Symmes Road to the east of US 301 will close for approximately 21 days, weather permitting.
During this temporary road closure, drivers should use either Boyette Road or Rhodine Road to Balm Riverview Road to access Symmes Road to the east of US 301. Northbound and southbound US 301, along with Symmes Road to the west of the intersection, will remain open to traffic during this phase of construction.
Message boards and signage will assist drivers traveling through the area. Commercial vehicles and trucks are reminded to follow the posted detours, avoid using local roads as alternate routes, and drive safely through the work zone.
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is making improvements to the intersection of US 301 and Symmes Road in Hillsborough County. This project is replacing the asphalt pavement with a durable concrete surface. For more information, visit FDOTTampaBay.com

US 301 from SR 60 to Causeway Boulevard
Lane closures (southbound): Sunday,  April 12 through Thursday, April 16 nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

US 301 from Bloomingdale Avenue to SR 574 (Dr Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard)
Lane closures: 24 hours per day through Friday, April 24

Reynolds Street east of US 301
Westbound lane closure/flagging operations: Wednesday, April 15 through Friday, April 17 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
SR 575 CLOSED at US 301
Trilby/Lacoochee – SR 575 is closed on the east side of US 301, as of around 10 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2026. The closure is needed to begin construction of a roundabout at the intersection. The closure is expected to be in place until August 2026. SR 575 will remain open to local traffic east of the closure at US 301.
DETOURS: Drivers can access SR 575 by taking Cummer Road to Bower Road to SR 575. Access will also remain available from SR 50 (Cortez Blvd) by going south on Burwell Road (CR 575) which turns into SR 575 at Lacoochee Clay Sink Road.
